I am Sahar Ilyas, the founder of City Care Center in Lahore, Pakistan, and the co-founder of Speech Map.
My expertise lies in pediatric care, specifically focusing on
Autism Spectrum Disorder and language challenges in
children. I specialize in enhancing verbal, nonverbal, and social communication skills for children with Autism and language disorders.
My experience spans diverse settings, including mainstream and specialist schools, as well as clinical environments, where I conduct assessments, therapy sessions, and interventions for children up to the age of 12. I highly value parental involvement, providing training and working closely with families to optimize children’s development.
Continuous professional growth is a priority for me, and I am trained in specialized programs and standardized testing to empower children to reach their communication potential. I have received specialized training in programs like the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme and DIR Floortime, and I am proficient in administering standardized tests such as the Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals 4 and the Preschool Language Scale.
My commitment to ongoing learning is evident through my participation in caregiver training sessions and continuous education in SCERTS awareness and Gestalt Language Processing.
Sahar Ilyas
